In this article you will find everything about quests.

General concepts[]

Quests are optional individual tasks for players. They are given to the player by various friendly mobs. If you complete a quest, you can earn some money and reputation.

At the very beginning of the game, when you first get into Game of Thrones, Jaqen H'ghar will offer you a quest to learn the mechanics of the game. At some point, he will give you a single copy of the quest book, which displays all current and completed quests, as well as their conditions.

Structure[]

Beginning of the Quest[]

The Thief offers us a quest

The Thief offers us a quest

When we talk to a friendly NPC with an exclamation mark above him (it appears with some chance), he will offer to fulfill a quest.

The quest is in the form of a window where we have the option to read the request and then accept or decline the fulfillment. If you refuse to fulfill the quest, it will not lead to any penalties. If you accept, the next stage will begin.

When a quest is started, a book icon appears above the questing NPC's head. Such NPCs are not despawned and are displayed on the world map with a book icon. If an NPC dies, the quest he gave you is automatically canceled. In this case, it should be removed from the quest book.

You can take no more than 1 quest from one NPC, but you can take more after it is finished. There is a limit - no more than 5 active quests for one faction, but already active quests can be canceled in the quest book. Legendary quests are taken only once.

Completing a Quest[]

After completing a quest entrusted to you, approach an NPC and PCM click on it, and the mob will give you a well-deserved reward - coins, reputation, and sometimes an achievement!

If you talk to the NPC before completing the quest, he will remind you about it and start to speed you up and motivate you to complete it. If you have already completed part of the quest, the mobs will remember this and reduce your meter, but the quest will not end.

Types of quests[]

There are currently four types of quests in the mod, each with several hundred variations.

Legendary quest[]

These quests can only be issued by characters; they become available once the player gains 100 reputation with the quest-giver's faction. The following is standard procedure: exclamation mark above your head, PCM, take the quest. Legendary quests usually require killing or collecting items. But these quests are very difficult, and for them the player receives a decent reward. Once a quest is completed, it can no longer be taken.

Example of a quest: Oberyn Martell is asked to kill Herold Dane because he thinks he is a bad man.

«Collect» type[]

These quests can be given by anyone; they are available at any non-negative reputation with the quest-giver's faction. In order to fulfill such a quest, you must obtain and bring the requested items or blocks. These can be obtained in a variety of ways, but do not affect the quest. The reward is usually proportional to the number of items or blocks the mob has been asked to bring.

Example quest: Nooneim Nooneimer asks to bring him 70 blocks of cement to organize the wedding of his beloved daughter.

«Steal» type[]

These quests can only be given by thieves; they are always available unless the thief is mad at you. To complete this quest, you must steal valuable items (no matter what kind) and bring them to the thief. Once the quest is taken, the player can approach mobs with an empty hand and do PCM + Shift, this is the process of stealing. Just collecting items and bringing them will not work, they must be stolen.

These quests are not as easy as they seem - honest and decent people do not like it when someone steals things in front of their eyes. And if you get burned by the person you're stealing from... you're guaranteed a negative reputation and a fight to the death. So try to approach lone mobs from the back.

Example quest: Niko Bellic asks you to steal from 6 people and bring the results to replenish his gang.

«Kill» type[]

Unknown

These quests can be issued by anyone; they are available with any non-negative reputation in the quest-giver's faction. This type of quest requires you to kill a certain number of enemies and then come back and report it. No prufs will be asked for.

A good tactic is to collect five quests on the same enemies at once, because the kill will be counted in all quest counters at once.
